Thank you for submitting your registration request for your youth program at the College of Charleston (CofC). To demonstrate the College’s commitment to the protection of minors, important requirements must be met and documented. This verification form serves as evidence that these requirements have been fulfilled.
Please complete this form in its entirety (including attachments), submit, and wait for email confirmation that your documents have been approved (not just received) prior to starting your program. Confirmation may take up to 5 business days. Once approved, your program is registered and deemed to have met requirements necessary to operate.
Each youth program is expected to have a College Sponsor.
Every College Sponsor must be pre-authorized by the appropriate Dean or Executive Vice President.
For internal programs, the College Sponsor is the College of Charleston department or unit operating or hosting the program.
For external programs, the College Sponsor is the College of Charleston employee, department, or unit serving as the liaison between the program and the College.
For the purposes of protection of minors, a College Sponsor is not assumed to have a financial commitment to the program.
The College’s nationally accredited Department of Public Safety is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors.
